Hip-Hop Legends: Eric B. & Rakim
February 20, 2008
You scream I’m lazy, you must be crazy. Thought I was a donut, you tried to glaze me…
If you don’t know Eric B. & Rakim, you don’t know hip-hop. Period.
The dynamic duo released Paid in Full in 1987, yet the album is even more original and refreshing when you listen to it 20+ years later.
If it wasn’t for Eric B. & Rakim, who knows where hip-hop would be today.
Check out these 8 songs from the 80’s to hear some music that was way ahead of it’s time…

Maybe Rakim is the greatest MC of all time.
Hope you write somenthing about BDP, the album “BY Any Means Necessary” is making 20 years this year.
Yeah, BDP definitely deserves a feature at some point. Have you listened to the music player on the right Daniel? One of my friends just called me out for not having enough hip-hop, so I just added a bunch of tunes. I think there’s some nice variety in there now, but lemme know what you think.
rumor - The Xtra P, LArge Pro - PROduced Paid in Full when he was 15. Eric B beat his ass when he tryed to take credit…in any case. Fuck Eric B. Large Professor is my man! 3rd on the track. This was my shit when I was 13
