Making Trades? Change in Plans

Find out why I removed the “Who to Trade, Start, Add?” post and what I plan to do about it.

Hey everyone.

After much consideration, I decided to take the Trade Advice post down.

There are several reasons for this, but the most obvious one is that my current setup (i.e. Article –> Comments) is not conducive to proper roster discussion. Having people from all angles throw questions into one space was too chaotic, so I’m holding off on that until I come up with a better solution.

I may create an entirely NEW site for my ‘08-09 Draft Guide, and if I do that I’ll look into adding a proper message board, which would make it much easier for people to ask and answer roster moves.

However, I realize that most of your league trade deadlines are coming up soon, so here’s what I’m going to do. Sometime next week I will post a Team-by-Team Outlook with complete Player Rankings for each position and more. This article will examine projected player values for the months of March and April, with a heavy emphasis on the final weeks for those of you in H2H leagues.

It will be like my Weekly Team-by-Team Outlook times 20, so I hope you all find it to be beneficial!

I will try to have it posted by Thursday, February 28th. That’s exactly one week before Yahoo’s default trade deadline, so it will give you just enough time to soak in all of my analysis, figure out who you want to trade, and go after your last minute deals.

I strongly believe that this article will be more valuable to you than my “Who to Trade?” post would have been, but feel free to ask questions if you still don’t understand why I took it down.
