Marion has a lot more value in 9 cat leagues. I think he is a solid #5 in 9 cat leagues but he drops(maybe out of the first round) in 8 cat.

Yup that’s what I am getting at! I liked Wade when he first came into the league, then he became injury prone every other year! That wheelchair crap was bullshit! Some guy named Jeeves sued AskJeeves.com and now it has become Ask.com! That person was not me.

Sorry, I must have misread the Marion column above and thought you were just saying he’s risky in general…but you were actually saying top 5 risky. My bad…

To be clear, he’s definitely not top 4 – but (esp. in 9 cat) he should be considered (along with Dirk) at #5. I don’t really play 8 cat, but I would imagine Wade might be a better option there.

Despite playing with multiple injuries and his teammates playing about as poorly as they can, he shot a decent 46.9% from the field, which is a mark that Mr. Kobe Bryant has reached just ONCE (and just barely, at 46.90% FG in ‘01-02) in his 11 year career. Is that what you’re getting at Jeeves? By the way, what happened to AskJeeves.com?

In ‘06-07 Wade shot 49.1% FG and 80.7% FT. What’s so funky about that?

I’d have to respectfully disagree with the Marion assessment especially considering 1) Wade is healthy, 2) He will be an unrestricted free agent after this season!!

Hey Ryan,

I have the same fears about Marion, but aren’t you just as worried about KG’s probable decline this year (getting older, across the board decline starting last yr) and how JO affects Bosh’s numbers? What are your thoughts?

There are 8 players off the top of my head I’d take ahead of Marion in 8-cat.
In no particular order
CP3
Kobe
Amare
Dirk
Brand
KG
LBJ
Wade
In 9-cat I’d take bosh instead of wade.
