Go down each of the main fantasy categories and take a player's career-high average in each one. Doing this, AK-47's max statline would read: 16.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.9 steals, 3.3 blocks, .9 threes, 50.6% FG, 80% FT. 8O If you were to do that exercise for every single player in the league, I doubt more than 1 or 2 guys could match that type of all-around production. The problem is, his numbers can fluctuate quite a bit from year to year, and he's usually well below his career average in at least 1 cat. For example, the point, rebound, steal, and three highs all came in '03-04, but he shot a career LOW 44.3% from the field that year. He also tends to miss games every year. '04-05 was probably his best year fantasy-wise, but he missed half the season! So yeah, IF Kirilenko could put it all together and stay healthy, he's CAPABLE of throwing down one of the finest fantasy lines of the last 10 years. But his inconsistencies and injuries really hold him back. I drafted him in the 5th/ 6th round last year, and after he averaged 6.8 boards, 5.6 dimes, 1.9 steals, 2.3 blocks, and 81.5% FT in November, thought I had gotten an incredible steal. But then his numbers plummeted and of course he missed 10 games. He's one of those high risk/ high reward guys, but at the same time, the dude is only 27, so his MAX STATLINE year could still be ahead of him! Here’s an interesting exercise.
