what does the imminent signing of Goran Dragic have, in any, on the draft positions? Isn’t Dragic worth a late round gamble in bigger leagues in case Nash gets hurt or his minutes are reduced?

now that Dragic has bought out his contract to join the Suns, there is another sleeper to look at, especially in deep keeper leagues. Is he as good as they say? Guess we’ll find out.

regarding redm’s post, PHX has certainly made it clear that they are looking for a backup PG for Nash who can play siginificant minutes. I don’t think Nash has the value he had in the past 3 years. To me he has dropped to 2nd round and does not warrant a 1st round pick.

A Suns beatwriter reported that Kerr wants to limit Nash’s minutes next year and play him only around 70 games. I doubt it will hold true during the season if they don’t sign a decent backup soon, but it could have a ton of impact on his fantasy value.

I bet some of the bench players are happy that D’Antonio left, since they will finally get some playing time! They might throw Barnes as the back-up shooting guard, because Raja Bell’s defense is weak!

UPDATE: Hoopshype is reporting that the Suns are closing in on an agreement with Tau Ceramica guard Goran Dragic to be Nash’s backup.
