Oooh. Big miss here. I can’t believe you dont have Skiles and Anderson. Skiles was AMAZING at 3’s and speed (like thomas) but Anderson was WAY better than laimbeer. The Magic fit your mold for a fantastic outside shooter and dependable computer helper.

the best duo was easily lj and zo. they both were fast and strong, no team could defend both adequately. their only weakness was they werent great 3 pt shooters but both were good enough to make em when they counted.

my personal favorite duo for NBA JAM tournament edition in the arcade was
barkley / majerle (suns): barkley was a dominating force, his stats were insane. even his 3 point stat was a 7! majerle was one of the best outside shooters and they both had a clutch rating of 9 which meant either one was good for a last second shot.

there wasnt an edition which pitted them with the best stats directly though, so i dont know who would win.

LJ and Zo in the SNES version. Basic strategy
was to shove the other team into submission.
By the 4th quarter, the other team would be out of gas
and LJ and Zo would dominate.

Naww the OG Minnesota team had Christian Laettner and Chuck Person. That’s a pretty wack team, but not nearly as bad as Milwaukee’s duo of Brad Lohaus and Blue Edwards.

Haha, I totally forgot that Starks was slower than Ewing. But they were the combo I played most (Starks was better at getting guys to the ground with the shove than anyone else, I think).

But I was also a HUGE Chris Mullin fan.

yeah, LJ and Zo were my favorite at that game. and if anybody needs to be reminded of the dominance of MJ (probably not), just remember that he was too good for all video games. he would have been on fire at all times in this game…

No joke, Dominique was my favorite player growing up. Augmon wasn’t good for much besides tough D tho.
