Here comes Banzuke

January 29, 2008

Unbeatable BanzukeGet ready folks. One of the greatest shows ever is now on American TV!

Thanks to the success of Ninja Warrior (aka Sasuke), G4 is unveiling a new nightly block of imported Japanese shows called “Duty Free TV” this Monday.

One of their new shows is called Unbeatable Banzuke. They showed a sneak peak of it about a month ago and it absolutely blew me away.

If you’re a fan of Ninja Warrior, you’re going to love this show!

And if you’ve never heard of that show, well, you’re missing out.

For an idea of what to expect, check out this clip:

I’m sure more clips will start popping up soon, but I highly recommend checking out the premier this Monday (6pm PST for me). My DVR’s already set.

By the way, I think I have a new nickname for one of my favorite Warriors…

Unbeatable Azubuike?

    How about Amazubuike?

    Yeah, I like that.

Did anyone watch the premiere? It featured an amazingly hard mountain bike course and a crazy giant see-saw where one person had to grab a barrel from one end and then hand it off to another other person to try and place it back down on the other end without allowing the see-saw to hit the floor. It looked ridiculously fun.

I’ll be scouring the net for more clips, but you guys seriously have to check out this show!

That show is crazy, I remember seeing the preview for it. By the way, have you seen the latest addition to Street Fighter: The Later Years? I searched on youtube and they happened to just come out with the 8th episode!

Nice, I just watched it. I’ll post the whole series when it concludes.
